My blog

Why do I even need a blog? I felt very sure I needed one, when I was thinking at all the interesting things that go through my mind during my days; now, facing the space I am supposed to fill with witty ideas and entertaining thoughts, I have 0. Oh well... who is going to look at my website anyway? but should I really expose myself to.... to whoever! even if nobody looks at me, I am without a doubt sending out this info about myself. and info change the world.

So I better get good at this. because if one day another me will be made, with the info found online, I want it to be accurate. And these temptations, doubts, tendency to sloth are somewhere to be acknowledged. I work for the goods, no doubt, but we are all complex characters and we can take care of a little selfish sloth, we can tame it and even use if as a source of energy for something else.

I am an artist. this I found out. I have toyed with the possibility, but, noooooo!!!! too much to expose! too much to match up to! I preferred not to be one thinking that, if only I would have been one, I would have certainly found out that I was sublime.

But now I have earned that title. now I am an artist. I live for my art! Humbling experience! I did not found out that I am sublime. I found out that I knew nothing and couldn't do nothing! Devastating really! I had to accept the fact that if I wanted to be an artist, I had to learn! And, blimey, there's a lot to learn. So many things! There is drawing, the body, the face, the eyes, the bones underneath, the poses, the poses in perspective, the perspective, the composition, the media, how to mix them, how to use them, the brush stroke the lights the black and white, the story telling, the writing about your work. No, I don't think there is a point of stop about painting. you continue to find new things you want to know. and this is really a gift!
